Seed Audiences are 1st party audiences that you can create in order to build lookalike models on preferred ad networks like Facebook and Google.  Seed Audiences are segments that are based on your best customers or people who are most engaged or highest lifetime value.  

Why is this important?

Seed Audiences are the best way to replace 3rd Party Cookie-loss and reach more qualified prospects who “look like’ your best customers. Creating Seed Audiences and syncing them to your preferred ad networks enables you to quickly and easily leverage lookalike models on Facebook, Google etc. to reach the right people.

Seed Audiences are the privacy-centric way to leverage your 1st party insights on your customers and then use those insights to expand your reach in your preferred ad networks, by reaching out to people who share similar interests and/or behaviors with your best customers.  


Create Seed Audiences

Using Cloud Connect, you can access your data warehouse and create Seed Audiences based on people who are are your highest lifetime value customers, or your best customers or your most engaged customers, or people who have purchased in the last year.  

With Lytics, you can create and sync these Seed Audiences to all your preferred ad networks, including Facebook, Google, Instagram, etc.  Once your Seed Audiences are synced to your ad networks, you can easily create lookalike models based on your 1st party Seed Audiences.  That means, you don’t have to create a spreadsheet and then upload them to each network manually or update these spreadsheets as your LTV scoring changes.
